Seen calling at Campbeltown, 22 August 2009, is the mega yacht Le Grand Bleu. This 370' Bermuda registered vessel was built in 2000 at the Bremer Vulkan yard in Bremen for John McCaw Jr. who sold her to Roman Abromavich in 2002. He had her refitted and lengthened but, in 2006, he gifted her to his friend and associate, Eugene Svidler. The fully rigged 74' sailing yacht and 67' speedboat, which form part of Le Grand Bleu's inventory, can clearly be seen in front of the helipad.
