"Planned maintenance", caused Loch Shira to be off service for most of the day, 20 March 2025. Loch Tarbert was pressed into relief service however, due to the vastly reduced vehicle capacity, there was a 90 minute wait for vehicle transport by 12:45. Of course, this situation was not helped by a minor collision between two vehicles on the car deck on arrival at Largs, together with the broken down car in the queue, resolved by the Maybole "white knight" next in the queue!
